You’ll have two options for hitting the seafront 500 metres away – either take the 1875 cliff lift down or stroll down for a day of sand and sea. If you want to get moving, join the Cleveland Way National Trail for breathtaking coastal walks. All the town’s amenities are within 0.5 miles, with a great mix of shops, cafes and high-end restaurants. Hikers will be keen to check out the trails of the North York Moors National Park (5 miles) and local gems like the Hayburn Wyke waterfall (8 miles). You’re also well-placed to explore the wider region – visit the traditional seaside town of Filey (6.5 miles), or the postcard-worthy fishing village of Robin Hood’s Bay (17.5 miles).
Located within a tasteful red-brick building, this stylish abode has mullion windows, brightly painted walls and herringbone flooring. The well-equipped kitchen has sleek modern fittings and everything you need to keep yourselves fed and watered, including a coffee machine for that all-important morning brew.
