The included breakfast was fantastic. Many options and the fresh fruit salad was good quality. Clean and useful bedroom and bathroom with comfy bed and duvet. We had 6 flights of stairs to our room which was fine and expected. The location is a long way from the seaside action but again, expected.

I was shocked how much space and how great the view was for the price. This is an old mansion. It has creeks on the floors which I found charming, but all the amenities the shower, the bathtub, and the other bathroom the kitchen were perfect. The bed was very comfortable. We only tried one of the two bedrooms in our apartment. We only rented for a night, but felt welcomed and welcome to return. I recommend this property as it was one of the best I have stayed in in the UK.

The room, bathroom and towels were spotless. Breakfast was beautiful. Great choices and very polite, pleasant staff. Music was playing in the breakfast room and whilst most of the songs were pleasant, some were a bit much and too loud for first thing in the morning. We would definitely return however. A very pleasant mini break. The hotel is central to everything with wonderful walks into Scarborough.

Excellent place to stay with free parking outside and only a ten minute walk onto the seafront. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. We had a wonderful experience at The Mansion House. Set in a quiet location within walking distance of the cliff lift and with free on road parking it has gorgeous views over the bay. We received a very welcome complimentary drink on arrival and loved the large spacious room. Even with all 3 beds made up there was plenty of space for our group. Plenty of fluffy towels and a powerful shower! We made use of the lovely communal lounge and honesty bar and especially loved that there was an actual newspaper available to read! Beds very comfortable with crisp sheets, we all slept really well! Breakfast was lovely, nice choice of juices, cereals, yoghurts fruit and pastries and a hot breakfast made fresh to order! The breakfast room is on the lower ground floor but is light and bright and we were still able to enjoy the morning sunshine while we took our time to enjoy the plentiful coffee. We loved all the homely touches and looking at all the photos on the walls, my son I. Particular loved all the airplane and red arrow pics! There’s a huge wall of info on places to eat, takeaway options and menus and they also have an in dining menu too. We definitely recommend and will return. Thank you!
