"Perfect place for our one night stop over when travelling through Norfolk. Exeptionally clean, friendly hosts and well stocked kitchen. Good tv, comfy bed. For a longer stay, we might have wanted to be more central. But a perfect place to travel out from by car."

"We had a lovely break at Lodge Cottage. the location is so peaceful and the ground are amazing. we did not make use of the swimming pool, table tennis or snooker but it was nice to have the option. for us the location is a little too far inland as everything was booked up but that did not affect our break as we went out to the North Norfolk coast several times and Lottie our working cocker spaniel enjoyed a swim in the sea. "Made to feel very welcome and hotel kindly arranged a late check-in without fuss. The room was comfy and clean and the breakfast first class. Nothing was too much trouble. Hotel is in a super location on the bridge with views of the river and just a short walk to shops and amenities. Very friendly - will always go back when visiting Thetford area."

"We were welcomed warmly by Greg who explained what we needed to know and showed to our room. The room is as nice as any room I have stayed in and I’ve stayed at the Mandarin Oriental!! The bedding was Luxurious and the bed wonderfully comfy. With tea and coffee making facilities in the room with fresh milk, I hope I have a reason to return. Absolutely 5 Stars"
