"One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It's a dog-friendly hotel and they only charge €10 per dog, which is the cheapest in the area. The breakfast was excellent with a big variety of food. Highly recommend it!"

"As it was our anniversary trip, the hotel gave us a free upgrade and a couple of complimentary drinks. Lovely staff and a very pleasant hotel. Just an overnight stay so not too worried a little out of town, but I did see a bus stop within a short walk."

"Very welcoming young lady on arrival. She informed us that it is €15 for parking, no concessions for disabled parking! Room was OK, could do with a good clean, carpet appeared threadbare, but think it was just the pattern. However, the towels are very threadbare! Bed was very comfortable, with nice clean bedding. Breakfast was good, however, they quickly ran out of items. Overall, 7/10."

"The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. There was no aircon and no kettle. My ensuite bathroom had a few problems: the sink was blocked, one shower door was off its rails so hard to open close, and the shower head attachment was loose. The biggest problem was the check in which was incredibly slow, and I think the member of staff could have handled it far better than he did. When I arrived there were three people at the desk who were obviously in the middle of a very long complicated transaction of some kind, and they were obviously on no hurry. It involved phoning people up and asking numerous things of the desk clerk. I was obviously impatient to check in, and I think he should and could have checked me in and then continued dealing with the other people, or he could have called over the other member of staff who was at the bar with no customers to serve. I had already paid and my check in would only take 30 seconds, and the other people were obviously in no hurry. I even asked whether I should come back later, as I find it incredibly frustrating to have to wait ten minutes for something that should be so quick, but for some reason he said no I had to wait. Altogether the check in experience was terrible."

"Fantastic modern hotel just 5 minutes walk from Dortmund central train station. Excellent members of staff, very professional and helpful. My room was super clean and modern with tea/coffee maker (5 different types of tea to choose from), nice small fridge with free bottles of water/drinks inside, room safe and many other useful things. The bed was super soft and comfy, the AC unit was super powerful and effective, the shower unit worked fine and the luxury soap/body gel was from Rituals. My room TV had many decent channels on the top of amazon, you tube and other platforms.Free luggage storage. Would highly recommend."
