"Excellent hospitality, nice breakfast with local bread, fruits, variety of ham, cheese, jams etc and good coffee. Spacious and clean room. The owner had a cute Italian greyhound. A knight use to live here in the 1800s, which makes this place more special.

"I had often heard that the area around Gare du Midi was unsafe and dirty, but I was pleasantly surprised. While some parts just outside the train station weren’t very clean and had a number of homeless people sleeping there, the streets near our hotel as well as the metro and train stations were nice and felt fine.

"Staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel was beautifully presented and eating breakfast outside in the garden was lovely. Room had everthing you'd need - including a fridge, kettle and two fans. Bed was massive and very comfortable. Lovely market on saturday morning and close to many shops and places to eat. Would definitely stay again."
