"Das 3. Bett war ein unzumutbar harter Schlafsessel, auf dem nur uneben ungemütlich schmerzhaft zu schlafen war. Ein anderes Beistellbett wurde auf meine Nachfrage hin am nächsten Tag allerdings sofort aufgestellt. Das Frühstücksbuffett ist für satte 14 Euro extremst spärlich gehalten mit nur einer Fruchtart und keiner Brotauswahl, es gab nur Brötchen und kleine Croissants. "

"Pension Barbara is a very cosy and clean pension right next to the paths leading up to The Brocken. The hostess was very sweet and attentive, and we had a good stay. Schierke as a town is a bit dated and quiet in the autumn, when we visited. Is was difficulty to find a place to just have a couple of drinks etc. The national park, Brocken and paths are all excellent for a short hiking-holiday. Great nature, chalenging paths (if you want it), nice restaurant on the summit."

"Jeg boede på hotellet i en uge, sammen med min søn. Han sidder i kørestol så derfor er det vigtigt at tingene fungerer. Det var et fantastisk sted og alt fungerer, beliggenheden er også perfekt udgangspunkt til udflugter og byen super hyggelig. Værelserne og indretningen er gennemført og nyt og lækkert. Ekstra lækkert var saunaen."
