"Such a pleasant surprise! Wanted to stay in a smaller town, and Gerswalde is pleasant walkable town, with a historic castle site a few blocks from the hotel. The restaurant was not open temporarliy, but the breakfast was wonderful; teated to home made jam, and fruit from the garden. Super friendly and helpful family run this quaint country hotel."

"Die Klospülung lief durchgehend, der Henkel des Seifenspenders war abgebrochen und die ältere Dame an der Rezeption hat ihren Job leider verfehlt... das Frühstück war für 15€ wirklich unterirdisch, hier ruht man sich darauf aus, dass man einen See hinter dem Hotel hat aber Service und Ambiente ist für eine Nacht vielleicht ok, für mehrere Nächte würde ich dieses Hotel definitiv nicht empfehlen. "Good spot. Breakfast is great! Convenient check in options for check in after reception hours. No 24/7 front desk. Didn't have a kettle or silverware in the room but ot was no problem getting some from the staff. Very friendly! The pillows were pretty bad, super soft with feathers and no other options in the room. Pillows and the two single mattresses instead of one big one would be my only complaint. But also standard for Germany and personal preference."

Praktisch und liebevoll eingerichtetes Häuschen mit allem was man braucht, was nicht da war haben wir auch nicht vermisst. "The hotel is located just slightly outside Berlin. It's in a small quiet town from which reaching Berlin by public transportation is very convenient. But besides the location and the quality of the rooms, the interaction with the stuff is really the best part. I was their guest twice so far, one time alone, another time with my 12-years old daughter."
