I recommend Soll in Austria for a cheap week on the slopes. It's a bit more skiier friendly but there is a little snowboard park. The tobogganing is ridiculous fun! We stayed in a guesthause in town a few steps away from Some great restaurants and bars. It was cheap enough to eat out for lunch and dinner everyday and never once queued for a lift.
