"Volpaia was a great experience. Staying in a small medieval village was very charming. The interior temp was very comfortable even in June. Max temp outside was 82F but inside felt like 76F with evening cooling down to 70. Not humid. Several dining choices from home-cooking to formal. Centrally located to other towns in the. "We had an amazing time at the Rivalta Hotel. My husband and I stayed in two different River View suites over a week, and both were equally amazing. The staff were phenomenal and went above and beyond for us. When we arrived we discovered that one of our suitcase locks was broken, and they sent someone up with tools to help us get in to it.
