"Beautiful location, room was nice, bathroom excellent and lots of hot water. Slight criticism was noisy plumbing- but minor issue. Breakfast was good, hostess had good English and very pleasant. Need a car as very steep to property. Excellent cleaner - very thorough. Lovely stay, thank you."

"After a week at a villa near the local beach, we just spent 2 unexpected extra nights at the Hotel Groticelli (due to cancelled flights home) and we all agreed it's a great place to stay, with amazing views, warm and helpful staff (receptionist helpfully speaks English), plenty to choose from at breakfast, and easy to access. The air-conditioned rooms have spacious terraces in front, and there is a pool (goes to 1.9m deep) for relaxing in, with outdoor showers etc. It's only 40min-drive along...

"Dont be fooled by the exterior, when you walk in you are greeted by a beautifully rennovated interior. Our room was gorgeous, well appointed and comfortable. Staff were friendly and welcoming and good selection at breakfast. Parking was right outside the door on street. Easy bus into Palermo. Enjoyed the village feel."
