"My partner and I hoped for a peaceful getaway to hike and chose this place. As soon as we drove in, it seemed like nothing we’d quite seen. It’s walled like a park with an expansive front yard area, but it’s private. There are really cute old buildings. It was like we had the place to ourselves. "I couldn’t give it five stars, it’s like 4.5. Pros - Quiet neighborhood Beautiful view of the lake Deck and a dock to hang out on Inside is very clean Bathroom and shower is just as shown Beds are comfortable, towels are fluffy Kitchen is stocked well with most things you need Cons - The front entrance is rough and smelly. The smell though doesn’t go into the house. The cushions for the deck furniture was sitting in a container that had water in it. We set them out for a day...

"The property is an easy drive to Downtown Madison and Clifty Falls! The views from unaide the housr are awesome to watch the barges and ships on the river. Communication with the owner was fantastic! Just becareful pulling out of the driveway... people speed around the bend."
