The setting was gorgeous - beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and very quiet - except for all the surrounding woods sounds - which was exactly what we wanted to hear! "Our trip was wonderful. The house sits in a quiet serene location, but close enough for us to go to the races at Kentucky Downs, see the show Shiners in Nashville, visit Mammoth Cave, and have some bourbon tasting in Bardstown. This is my favorite destination, and plan to return annually as long as Lila will have us."

"Mice droppings were in all the beds. Also fresh crusty blood spots on several pillow cases and soaked through to pillows. M&Ms in a bed too. Obviously unwashed bedding. Our food and containers had fresh mouse droppings on them. Survived by using our own things as much as possible. For so much a night to stay there, it was very disappointing!!
