Unit 24 Lot 114. This cozy ocean front home features panoramic North Coast blue water views about 100 yards from the ocean bluff. Take your dog on a five-minute walk to Shell Beach or continue along the Bluff Trail to experience the unique Sea Ranch scenic views. This one bedroom, 1.5 bath well equipped home has a deck with hot tub to enjoy the beautiful ocean views. House allows a dog. Bed linens and towels are provided with this rental, bring your own or rent them from Beach Rentals.

SEA RANCH AND SONOMA COUNTY GUIDELINES
Drones are strictly prohibited in The Sea Ranch.
Quiet hours must be observed between 9pm and 7am every day.

Kitchen Utensils need updating

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been staying in a Sea Ranch rental over the past 20+ years. We have enjoyed the location and amenities of the Dacha House and it has been our go to rental for the past 8 years. However, this time the kitchen utensils and the home show a lot of wear. 1. There are no sharp knives to cut food and meat/poultry with. The knives there will not even slice a tomato. 2. There are no steak knives to cut our cooked chicken and steak with. 3. There are no BBQ utensils to BBQ our meat and chicken on the BBQ. 4. There are tumblers for wine, but only 2 mismatched stem wine glasses (that was disappointing). One thing we really do like about Dacha is the jacuzzi!

Wonderful respite from the heat of the valley

I am a bike rider and Sea Ranch is my favorite place to ride - 11.5 loop to Gulala point and back with virtually no traffic and good roads. View from the deck out onto the meadow and down to the ocean never disappointed - something always going on out there.

The house has an enclosed area for the dog which is great. We reported a problem with water leaking somewhere and Beach Rentals took care of it right away, tho it required us to be without water for a few hours. Great spot for wildlife and we especially enjoyed seeing a little fox hunting in the neighborhood.

Kitchen has everything. Smaller microwave would give more counter space. Large SMART TV w premium channels. A LR chair for shorter people is needed a log to sit in yard enjoying the flowers would be nice. We would rent again. Stayed 7 nights. Thanks for allowing dogs.

Dogs and I enjoyed Dacha

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had a great stay. This house has minimal decor, a comfortable king sized bed and lots of storage. The windows open for natural AC. The kitchen was well equipped for my needs and liked that the frig had water and ice dispensers. You will need to bring your own condiments and seasonings. The house is located very close to trails and in a few minutes you are at the bluffs or walking on a beautiful beach, which I loved.Dog owners - the house has a fenced yard (about 5 ft tall) and fenced passage from front door to garage, both good to secure larger dogs as well as small ones. The deck has a fence around it, maybe 2 feet tall at its lowest height. I supervised my dogs when they were out in the yard as there are some gaps under the fence (filled with pieces of firewood). The yard was large enough for the dogs to play and chase each other which was great. A large dog bed was provided plus a basket of towels with some dog biscuits, as well as other dog supplies. Even though I brought dog beds from home, my dogs loved the house dog bed.Minor cosmetic issues: There were smudges on the walls throughout the house at both dog and human level. There was peeling paint on a couple of the window sills and scratches on the walls under 2 windows from dog paws. The cover from the outdoor outlet on the deck was broken off and laying on the deck. Not much, but for the rental price I would not expect it.Minor inconveniences: Parking described as “driveway and garage”, but there was no garage access.There was no outdoor grill (per description) that I could see.There was only one towel rack in master bathroom at the tub. There was no place to hang towels near the sink or shower. Internet was out when I arrived, but that could happen anywhere.Not easy to read on the sofa because of the lighting location behind the sofa. Some windows were challenging to open. The hot tub jets would not turn off when I was done. Instructions for both wou

No throw pillows, no extra blankets, no throw rugs, no warmth, cold actually, no guest book, nothing to read, unable to work television, no blinds on the some windows and existing blinds were insufficient for watching television on a west facing wall- the sun glare made it impossible to see the screen, very dated and way over priced for this type of house. We’ve stayed in at least 100 houses over 40 years at Sea Ranch and this one was the worse. If you want a zero house, this is it.
