Summary:

Sibley is a 1 bedroom/1 bathroom plus loft Sea Ranch vacation home featuring an oceanfront view.



The Space:

Visitors will spend their days strolling amongst the bluffs with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Great hiking trails, the rec center, and the beach are all nearby making for relaxing day trips.



You will enter into an open floor plan showcasing oversized windows allowing for an abundance of natural light and a gorgeous ocean view. A fully-equipped kitchen will be on the left as you enter the common living space. Pristine white counters and updated stainless steel appliances are assembled for you to whip up a gourmet meal. This sunny spot is suitable for eating a home cooked meal and spending quality time with your loved ones.



The back deck also offers a space to dine alfresco. Heat up the BBQ and grill something delicious. A patio table and chairs encourage you to dine and drink a glass of wine while you watch the distant waves roll in. Be sure to take a dip in the private hot tub - perfect for watching the sun set behind the water and stars appear in the night sky.



Across from the kitchen is the living room. Plush seating is assembled in front of a mounted TV and wood stove. If it becomes a chilly night, light a fire and curl up on the couch with a good book. There is Smart TV service, a DVD player, and high-speed WIFI internet also for family entertainment. A washer and dryer are tucked away convenient for any wet swim suits after a soak in the hot tub.



The master bedroom is furnished with a King bed. A loft bedroom is located upstairs and ideal if you are traveling with any children as it has 1 trundle twin bed. A shared bathroom is found near the living room.



The Sea Ranch is a planned community with over 3000 acres featuring: The Historic Sea Ranch Chapel, The Sea Ranch lodge (restaurant and shopping), a 50-mile trail system with 6 public beach access points, dog park, and 3 recreation centers with outdoor pools, locker rooms, half-basketball court, and tennis courts (amenities vary with each center) for guest use. RV's, trailers, or mobile homes are strictly not allowed.



The Sea Ranch facility reservations for pool and tennis are available on the Sea Ranch Association website. The trails and beaches are open.

All good and as expected. Little frustrating that power went out when plugged in two small devices. And then hot tub turned off but property manager was amazing and responded immediately! 10/10 management!

Everything worked. It was clean. The place is older, and a refresh of wood would be good. For example, doors are quite worn at the bottom, and the outside deck is at end of life.

Charming and clean. Great location and very quiet. Had all we needed for an in home meal. Very bright and comfortable. Hot tub was nice and easy to access. Rooms were clean and communication with proprerty was easy and responsive. Nice views of the Ocean and real close to Bluff to a beautiful walk.

Summer Break Trip

Sea Ranch is so special. We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the ocean views from the deck. The house is just a short walk to the Bluff Trail for beautiful sunsets and ocean views. As always, we enjoyed the community pool and sauna. Great communication with the host company, too. Very well-planned with our parking and pool passes available when we arrived. We would definitely stay here again!

unenjoyable experience

The picture is not where we ended up staying! 10 minutes before checking, we get a text that the unit we paid for was not available and we could cancel or they’d find another place!! We had just driven 7 hours and communication was limited. The house you assigned was larger, but there were stairs and unsafe entrance into the house. We are 81 years old and thought we’d be staying in a one level.We left on Sunday am, a day early. The sound on TV didn’t work, dryer lint catcher is unable to remove and clean, bed sagging, uncomfortable. Sorry to complain, but it’s important for you to look carefully at the homes you list.

Lovely!

Great location, protected from the wind with a peekaboo view of the sea. An easy five minute walk to the Bluffs. A bit like staying at grandma‘s house, slightly dated, but charming, warm and comfortable. We loved it! Perfect for two people or maybe a couple with one or two kids who don’t mind sleeping on the pullout couch.

Nice vacation retreat

Nice vacation retreat. House is a little "tired", but very clean and comfortable.We had an issue with the stove. As soon as we reported it the management had a handyman come and fix it. They were very responsive.Over all it was very enjoyable.

We will stay here again!

Overall, this was a pretty much perfect place for us; large and usable kitchen, comfy sitting areas, comfortable bed, and most importantly a gorgeous view with a really nice hot tub. The privacy and views made it a perfect getaway.This area offers nice places to walk the bluffs, and was a short drive to the beach and nearby town of Gualala.Only a couple of minor things to note, the bathroom is dated (who cares?!), the shower was a bit difficult for my very tall husband (he made due), and the master bedroom could use better sleeping pillows (I forgot to bring my own). But honestly, the perks of this cozy home made the minor inconveniences unimportant.The fireplace is amazing and there’s a good wood supply. The deck looking out to the ocean is gorgeous. The home felt very private, clean, and quiet.My husband and I didn’t want to leave and we pictured ourselves moving in permanently! We could really feel the love and good vibes from all who’ve stayed before us.

Perfect Beach vacation

We had a wonderful time at Sea Ranch in this very comfortable and well located beach house. It is close to the ocean and the bluff trails, had everything we needed for cooking and a great hot tub for star gazing. We would love to come back!

Cozy Sea Ranch Stay

This house was just right for us. The common space and large backyard were great places to read and relax, and the open kitchen had a nice layout and was well equipped for cooking. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Lovely place

We’ve stayed in Sea Ranch a few times but really enjoyed this house the most. The decor, space, setup. All good stuff. Well appointed with practically all needs for cooking and eating at home during the stay. Lots of soaking in the hot tub. And it’s a wildlife crossing, we got to see all the local creatures during our visit. It’s only a short walk to the bluff trail.

Loved

Beautiful property! The kids loved the convertible den/bedroom. Comfortable bed in the master and privacy for my father in law up in the loft. My husband and I saw so many shooting stars from the hot tub at night. Kids flew kites and splashed in the ocean! Very reminiscent of my childhood coming to the home my grandparents owned here. Heart full! Having a stressful, demanding job, it was amazing to recharge in the quiet, natural beauty! We had dinner at the Sea Ranch lodge and it was delicious. Highly recommend. We will be back. ❤️

Cozy, lovely location, but needs TLC & emergency preparation

Power outages are out of our control, but preparation for an emergency is within control of the management. Tremendous storms took out the power on Day 1. A roof leak, wet wood recently delivered, no kindling, lack of candles, batteries and charcoal for cooking put a dent in our pocket ($100). No communication as the office closed. Plus, description was 2 twin beds, but only one in the home. There was a pull out sofa, but I wouldn't have invited another couple if I knew it wasn't as described. Another sofa was in need of replacing - worn, uncomfortable, and not the quality you'd expect for Sea Ranch. Great location to walk along the coast and see the amazing surf. Requested some compensation due to the issues listed here, but never received any response. Very expensive for a glamping experience!!!

My husband and I stayed for 3 of the 4 no we booked. Our stay was not as comfortable as we’d hoped. The location was nice and we enjoyed the easy access to the trails and beaches. The furniture and was not cozy and comfortable and several dishes and cook wear were put away dirty. It would have been nice not to have driven to an office to pick up and drop off keys. I assume the price reflects what you get. We’ll look for another unit next time.

Absence of light and noise pollution provided a peaceful getaway in a lovely home.

Best part was sitting in the private hot tub on the deck and looking at the exquisite blanket of stars and planets and, especially, the Milky Way galaxy. As residents of Los Angeles, that’s a real treat! We would have liked to have instructions for the dishwasher - it was not intuitive, but we did get it to work. We loved the quiet environment and the home was lovely. We missed having a real person give us the keys and welcome us - I know that’s not uncommon - it’s just a preference. We’d have preferred to be able to leave the keys in the house instead of driving north up to Gualala before our 5-hour drive south. We’d definitely return, now that we know our way around the area. The community pools, by the way, were excellent places to do lap swimming, and the employees were awesome.

Amazing location in theory…

First of all I want to say the 5 stars is for Jannett and her customer service team. She turned around a bad situation and saved our vacation. So the house itself is charming, nice bedding and homey touches. The first night was great, we were a bit worried about the water damage on the wood walls but just left the windows open for ventilation and hoped for the best. The next morning is when all hell broke loose… At 7:30 I hear shouting in what was an absolute pristine quiet. Turns out they were rebuilding the entire deck and siding on the house next door. Not only do I have a hearing condition, but we chose Sea Ranch specifically for the quiet. So with one bar of cell coverage I started calling Grand Welcome, took some pics and video, sent an email and by 11 am I had spoken is Jannett the manager through her very kind associate. Jannett immediately sprung into action and salvaged our vacation by placing us in a different and larger rental house. She was kind, compassionate and a total pro. Followed through on everything promised and Kathleen came to the new property when we had a problem getting in with the code just to make sure we got in okay. This is what real customer service looks like.

Peaceful, private getaway!

The house is clean and well maintained. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes/pots/utensils, etc. Enjoyed the deer and other wild life that wandered through the property. Short walk to bluff trail.
