Sited in the Meadow Approx 100 Yds off the Ocean Front with Unblockable Views

  • Located in the meadow approximately 100 yards off of the oceanfront with unobstructed ocean views. It is situated within close walking proximity to Pebble Beach, Black Point Beach and the Moonraker Rec Center. The house has a landscaped courtyard with decking and sitting area, including a hot tub featuring a sliding barn door to view the meadow and ocean from the hot tub.

    Designed by Steve Brodie, Architect. Galleon's Reach is a contemporary design with a calm neutral color scheme. The reversed floor plan has the main living space on upper level to maximize ocean views. The upper-level deck wraps around the side of house with views of hedgerow and ocean, complete with BBQ and exterior dining furnishings. One guest bedroom with queen bed and window seat and full bath is on upper level.
    The lower-level primary bedroom has a King and window seat, double sinks, soaking tub and walk in shower. The other lower-level bedroom also with a Queen and window seat and full bath. The window seats can be used for additional sleeping.

    Central heat with a real wood burning fireplace in the living room. Approximately 2300 sq ft. Spacious, open and light filled environment. Beds made with linens and towels are included in the price of this house. Free wireless internet. One dog only is welcome. Garage includes a foosball table and ping pong table, which guests are welcome to use at their own risk, as the garage is not considered an official game room. There is also an EV Charger available for guest use.

One bedroom had no heat and space heaters had to be borrowed from the rental agent. Some of the hot tub controls were inoperable. The ice maker in the refrigerator was broken.

Great Property for 3 Couples

Reviewer Comments: This house is located on the southern part of Sea Ranch, a 30-minute walk to the lodge, which is a great place to get lunch Thursday - Sunday. It was close to the bluff trail with beautiful views when walking to the north and south. The house was clean and well-maintained, though the hot tub did not work during our stay. The kitchen was well-outfitted with utensils, cookware and appliances. The property management company could have ensured that some of the consumables were better stocked - we needed ant traps and dishwasher soap and toilet paper. But they were helpful when we needed those items as well as a hot tub repair person. My only criticism is that the rental company is in Gualala, so if you're coming from the south, you have to drive 15 minutes past the house to get the key and then come back 15 minutes. You also have to do the same when you leave. It would be much more convenient to have a keypad on the door so we wouldn't need to do all that extra driving - or have an additional office in or near the lodge where we could pick up and drop off keys.
