"The Viking is truly a charming experience, the view from the picture window couldn't be beat, the living area is super clean and decorated with beautiful works of art. The bedroom is very comfortable and quiet we had such a great sleep there. The area is very picturesque and right in front of you, we took many splendid shots of the cliffs ocean and beach. Ann and Mike are the owners and are very nice they made us feel right at home, I won't spoil it but they treated us to some excellent little treats to make us feel even more welcome. I highly recommend a stay at the Viking."

"I almost don't want to write this review because I'd rather keep this place a secret so it's available the next time we come to Twillingate/Crow Head!This house was absolutely perfect for our group of eight. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, with lots of gathering spaces when we wanted to be together and enough bathrooms that no one was ever waiting. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and everything in the home felt fresh, modern, and very well maintained.The location is spectacular. We spent hours at the lookout watching whales, and we were lucky enough to see whale activity multiple times. It never got old.One of the unexpected highlights of our stay was the wonderful neighbours. They were so friendly that one of them actually took a member of our group out cod fishing, which turned into one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. That kind of hospitality says so much about both the property and the community.If I could give this place more than five stars, I would. In fact, I'll give it 20/10. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, and in fact, we're already hoping we can."

"This was the most well prepared house we have encountered in our travels. The blankets for the patio was just one example of the thoughtful provisions. The 1 to 1 ratio of bedrooms and bathrooms was really appreciated. We wish we had planned to stay longer."

"Such a perfect location! Loved sitting our in the deck with the view of the ocean. Loved that the town of Crow Head is so cute and the neighbours so friendly. Loved the little rock beach and lookout point rwithin walking distance. Loved that the Twillingate Lighthouse and trails where just up the road. The only little downfall was that there was no supper restaurant within walking distance but, oh well, there was a fully equipped kitchen and more than 1 grocery store nearby. I had totally forgot about the extra games room which included a fooseball table and the powder room was appreciated with the 4 of us adults. Since this was our midtravel spot, the washer and dryer were very helpful. The two bedrooms had very large closets allowing the suitcases to be out of the way. The house had everything we needed! We would definitely recommend staying here."
