The view from cabin is so peaceful and beautiful! Worth slowing down for the day and staying here. We are traveling he NS coastline by motorcycle and this was a perfect safe place to stop"

"We have always stayed at this hotel when flying out of Halifax. This time, we got out in a room that had a hammock of a mattress, it was the most uncomfortable sleep I’ve had in a very long time. The front desk agent was rude upon arrival as well. The location is hard to beat, but I do hope they start investing money in the beds. It’s time."

"Upon arrival we noticed the property needs a little TLC. Deck boards need painted , pool needs patched, a little landscaping love would go a long way. However, the pleasant welcome at the front desk, a room that although dated was clean and cool, comfy and practical made up for the outside. The pool was too cool to enjoy but we were pleasantly surprised by the in room jacuzzi so we took advantage of that instead! We enjoyed our one evening stay and slept well. I do wish they had waited to move...
