This attractive terraced holiday property, enjoying a delightful courtyard setting, has been converted from fisherman’s old storage buildings and is furnished to a good standard. Erskine Cottage is situated close to the town centre, harbour, beach and from Seahouses, boat trips to the Farne Islands, home of puffins and seals. Sea diving and watersports are all available. Bamburgh with its majestic castle and golden sandy beach, 3 miles away. Shop and pub 300 yards.

A special, cozy, comfortable weekend

We loved Erskine Cottage. It was very comfortable, well equipped and in such a great location - central Seahouses. The wood burning stove added so much to make it cozy. Thank you!!

Wonderful cosy cottage

So cosy, we loved it immediately. Great location with loads to do and it felt like coming home in the evening. The cottage was so lovely, we decided to stay in for the evenings. Hope to be back in May next year.

Really fabulous weekend at the cottage.

Really fabulous weekend at the cottage. Only issue was the lack of internet, we understand not having WiFi however the phone signal at the cottage was so so poor we couldn’t even load google maps to plan routes to places without going outside to do so. If the signal is usually this poor always we would suggest putting WiFi into the property however it if was just a one off pay no mind to this! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A very well equipped cottage almost a home from home. Ideally located for local amenities and a perfect base for visiting local sites and those perhaps not so local viz. Berwick on Tweed. Enjoyed our break.

Whilst we enjoyed our stay we were disappointed there was no welcome pack on arrival so we had to go

Whilst we enjoyed our stay we were disappointed there was no welcome pack on arrival so we had to go out for milk. Also could have done with a pan scrub. The floorboards upstairs need some serious attention. Also we have never been asked to strip beds before. Wasnt a problem but unusual.

A lovely place to stay, every want or need catered for; from books and games for the kids to extra blankets! Beautifully clean and one of the comfiest beds I have ever slept in. Location was perfect with a beach, pubs, cafes and shops right on the doorstep, as well and lots of things to do a bit further afield. We even got to Edinburgh in less than 90 minutes!

Comfortable and well-located

The property was comfortable and well-equipped. It was just outside town but only a ten minute walk to the shops and the beach/harbour It's a shame it smelled of dogs downstairs, and had no garden, but overall it was a great house and we would certainly recommend it and/or stay there again
