"Wonderful place for a safe and relaxing stay at a reasonable price. The room was clean with a fairly comfortable mattress. Great view of the water and a lovely deck to sit and enjoy the sea air. There is only one bathroom in the house so it can involve some waiting, but it wasn't a big deal. Mama will make you a delicious breakfast of toast, eggs, and bacon every morning, and caters to your schedule. She set up a boat ride with a local who took us over to Cape Sable Island. He dropped us off and picked us up when we were ready. We wandered all over the island, listened to the waves crashing into the rocks, and played alongside the sheep grazing near the lighthouse. It was a fantastic addition to our trip. There isn't much for restaurants in the area, but the Cape Light Cafe (within walking distance of Mamas) has delicious sandwiches, and Captain Kats has great seafood. Most everything closes early so be aware of that when planning meals. Mama is a kind soul who does her best to make people feel at home. Would definitely stay again if in the area."

"This property is the top VRBO I have ever stayed at. The house is spacious, beds are incredibly comfortable, showers work well, and it is stocked with amenities. Three adults stayed here, including myself, and we were all very pleased. Dave, the property host, is an excellent communicator, but we really didn't have to connect much once we were checked in. I highly recommend this house!"

"We could not have picked a better place to stay. There were 6 of us and the house is extremely well equipped. I loved the decor as well as the fact that the renovation was done keeping in mind the history of the house. We hope to come back to stay another time."

"My family of 5 stayed at Puffin Inn for two weeks. The property was clean and bright and in a beautiful location. It was also easy to get to Yarmouth and some outstanding beaches. The owners were absolutely lovely and gave us some great tips on the area and excellent restaurants - and they weren’t wrong on the food-all the restaurants were excellent. My husband, who loves cooking found the kitchen a little small to do too much and lacking in good kitchen gear but we made it through just the same! I would recommend this location."
