This is an older motel that is being brought back to life. The room was quiet and comfortable, The fall colors beautiful. We were here only one night just to get a good night sleep before adventuring on. No complaints-it was a little spendy. It was a little different not having a live person to visit with, but it worked. Received a text with the code to get in. Someone set up the continental breakfast, but we didn't see them.

The room had a musty/cleaner smell upon entry. The front door had gaps at the top and bottom that the light just poured in. Walls and paneling had areas that needed attention. Only a very thin fleece blanket and bedspread on bed. Bathroom fan did not work. Only had one tiny sink in the bathroom. Only had hooks on walls that coats kept falling off of, no closet. Nothing to put ones' suitcase on. Towels hung on rack over the toilet and no other hooks in the bathroom. They did provide lots of clean towels though. the room was very clean except for a couple spots that it looked like no one cleaned all season like behind the faucet. Definitely not worth the almost $200 per night that we paid for.

Great place and very nice owners. Quaint comfortable hotel attached to a beautiful home. Nice continental breakfast included in a pretty dining room. The owners are very nice, they make you feel at home. Hershel went out of his way to correct a glitch in the reservation that we made through a third party site. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Loved the friendly text message as we were late arrivals that told us how to enter the room and numbers for any issues, located on the door. (very safe no contact for those that need that), Breakfast room had all sorts of options for ease of breakfast and enjoyment of the morning air. Loved the historical information posted inside the building as well. The room had a cabin-like feel and a calm atmosphere.
