This is an immaculately presented cottage - we have high standards when it comes to cleanliness and this place required no 'supplemental' cleaning by us, that's very rare indeed. Beyond that the cottage is in an amazing spot - huge gardens, surrounded by trees with the river running right along the bottom of the garden. I am almost reluctant to write about it, because I'd like it to be available whenever we want to go back. This isn't a bells and whistles place, there's no massive tele, no dishwasher, nothing especially fancy, just a really well presented (immaculate!) and looked after, quiet, cottage in a fabulous spot. I suppose the only draw back is that because it's in the south west Lakes - a more industrial area - it's a bit of a drive to get to popular tourist spots. But all the same you can get to Keswick in just over an hour, and so long as you don't mind a little bit of driving nowhere is all that far away really. This is a cottage that I would, honestly, choose to go back to, and I don't say that lightly.
