"Stopover on our way south. Arrived 02.00 tired after drive down from the AC/DC concert in Edinburgh. Probably the shortest stay we’ve ever had in a hotel. Have stayed here before. Easy location just off A1. Very clean room and friendly staff at breakfast. "

"This is an excellent, value for money budget hotel. Most facilities are at par with what you would expect from a budget hotel but most outstanding feature is its very helpful staff. Adam is a star. He went above and beyond with anything we needed help with. All other staff we interacted with - Sumit, Helen, Caroline - were all very kind and helpful. Kudos to the management for hiring such awesome people.
The next door pub waggon team is also an asset, good food at reasonable prices.
