Private Rooftop Sauna & Deck; Walk to West Seattle Junction; Sleeps 6

Welcome to your West Seattle getaway! This 3-bedroom, 2-bath home is just two blocks (about a 5-minute walk) from the West Seattle Junction, and it comes with the feature guests love most: a private rooftop deck with an electric sauna, views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains, a grill, and an outdoor dining area. Sleeps 6. The whole unit is yours, with a private entrance and a private living room, so your group gets the place all to itself.

The Space
The home spans three floors plus the rooftop deck, with stairs connecting every level. The middle floor is where everyone ends up: an open living room and kitchen with modern furnishings, a flat-screen TV, a game console, and a dining table that seats 6. Board games are on hand for those rainy Seattle evenings. Wi-Fi is included, and the in-unit washer and dryer make longer stays a breeze. Ductless mini-split systems provide heating and air conditioning, and room-darkening shades help everyone sleep in.

Sleeping Arrangements
Three bedrooms sleep up to 6 guests. The entire top floor is Bedroom 1, the primary suite, with a king bed. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are on the first floor, so the group gets a little breathing room. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed, and Bedroom 3 has a full-size bed, brand new along with its mattress. Bed linens are provided.

Bedroom 1 (Primary Suite, Top Floor)
The whole top floor is yours. It has a king bed and a private, tucked-away feel, with the primary bathroom nearby featuring a shower and heated floors. It's a peaceful retreat at the top of the house.

Bedroom 2 (First Floor)
A comfortable queen bedroom on the first floor, great for a couple or two friends traveling together. It's steps from the second bathroom.

Bedroom 3 (First Floor)
A cozy bedroom with a brand-new full-size bed and mattress, a good fit for a solo traveler, a couple, or a child. It's also steps from the second bathroom.

Bathrooms
Two full bathrooms, both with hot water, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, and a hair dryer. The primary bathroom is on the top floor and has a shower and heated floors. The second bathroom is on the first floor, near Bedrooms 2 and 3, and has a tub/shower combo.

Rooftop Deck & Sauna
The rooftop deck is the star of the show. Start your morning with coffee up here, fire up the grill for dinner, or wind down at night with a glass of wine and a view of the Sound and the Olympics. There's a patio set for outdoor dining, and the private electric sauna sits right there facing the view. It comfortably fits 2 to 3 people. Right next to the sauna is an outdoor shower. It's cold water only, so consider it a bracing rinse for the brave, and hot showers are waiting downstairs. The rooftop deck and sauna are for registered guests only.

Kitchen & Dining
The kitchen has a full-size refrigerator, oven, and stovetop, plus a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, and hot water kettle. Cooking basics like pots and pans, oil, salt, and pepper are covered, along with baking sheets, dishes, silverware, and wine glasses. There's coffee for your first morning and barbecue utensils for the rooftop grill. Cook a big group dinner at home, or stroll to the Junction and let someone else do the dishes.

Parking
The home has a carport with one dedicated parking spot on the property, plus free street parking nearby. The Junction is walkable, so you can leave the car parked for much of your stay.

Location & Neighborhood
This is one of West Seattle's most walkable spots. In the Junction, you'll find restaurants, bars, coffee shops, boutiques, and the legendary Easy Street Records. Two local favorites for dinner are Due' Cucina for fresh Italian pasta and KinD Asian Noodle House for noodle bowls and comfort dishes. And for dessert, Molly Moon's ice cream is a short walk away, which is a great way to end the night.

Things to Do Nearby
Alki Beach is a short drive away, with a sandy shoreline and a paved path that's popular for sunset walks. Lincoln Park, also a short driv awaye, has forested trails, a beach, a playground, and views of the ferries on the Sound. Downtown Seattle is an easy drive or rideshare, with Pike Place Market, the Space Needle, the Great Wheel on the Waterfront, the Museum of Pop Culture, and Chihuly Garden and Glass. The Museum of Flight is a hit with families and aviation fans, and the Olympic Sculpture Park is a free outdoor art walk on the water.

Check-In & Guest Access
Check-in is at 4:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Arrival is easy: you'll get a key code and can let yourself in through your private entrance. The home is professionally cleaned before every stay, and your host is happy to help with any questions. The exact address is shared after booking.

Safety
The home has smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, a fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit.

Good to Know
A few house rules, delivered with love: no pets (we adore them, but the house says no), no smoking (the sauna is the only thing that should be steaming), and no parties or events (this is a chill retreat, not a rager). Quiet hours start at 10:00 PM so everyone, neighbors included, gets a good night's sleep. Heads up that there are stairs between all floors, including up to the rooftop deck and sauna.
