The bed was very comfortable. This is a no frills apartment. The kitchen is equipped with 4 of everything. 4 plates, 4 bowls,4 juice glasses and 4 coffee cups. No wine glasses at all. We did enjoy the 2 roof top decks.
I was disappointed with my stay at this property. While the marketing photos were somewhat accurate, they didn’t fully reflect the reality of the unit. It’s an older space that hasn’t been updated in quite some time. There were instant stains on the carpet, and the bathroom felt very outdated. There were no hooks to hang towels, just one small towel bar, and there was no toilet paper holder — the same goes for a paper towel holder. Because of that, whenever the counter got wet, the toilet paper did too. Even moderately priced properties usually offer Kleenex, and I really missed having that convenience.
The bed itself was comfortable, but the pillows were quite firm. The water pressure in the shower, however, was absolutely excellent — one of the few highlights of the unit.
The unit is built on a slant, which was noticeable, and there was absolutely no view or natural sunlight entering the space. It felt dark and closed off.
The kitchen supplies were extremely minimal. If you want to make a salad and toss it in a bowl, forget it — there wasn’t one. There were no wine glasses, no ice bucket, and the paper towels were just placed on the counter without a holder, so they got wet easily from the sink. The kitchen sponge was very worn out and had holes in it.
Parking is where this property truly earns its lowest score. There is basically no reliable parking. The garage can be closed, and otherwise you may end up walking quite far. Neighborhood is sketchy too. Dangerous.
This is the second unit I have stayed in that is managed by Vince. Like the other unit, I found this unit to be clean, had plenty of extra towels, a minimally stocked kitchen for cooking. Vince was very fast at replying to my messages and letting me into the unit. I enjoyed my stay.
The apartment was just as advertised. After we got in we found everything we needed. The next morning we walked out and had everything we wanted to do within walking distance. The host was very friendly and available for communication.
Downtown Seattle is a really cool place and this apartment made a perfect home base to explore it from.
This unit is in a convenient location for getting around much of central Seattle. The bed was comfortable, the shower had good water pressure. Two small annoyances: (1) checking in with the Jiminy property management app is a hassle, and (2) the A/C unit was not set up to exhaust, and we unknowingly ran it for two nights with the hot exhaust going into the unit, which mixed with the cold output and left the room alternatively humid and clammy. It would've been nice to have the A/C set up before we arrived, or at least gotten a heads up that we needed to set it up. Those two small points aside, this was a good place to stay, and I appreciated Vince's prompt communication.
What you see is really what you get and host is very communicative. The only issue is that the location is somewhat of a sketchy area, especially at night. Be cautious if you are traveling as a woman.
There was a leak in the building which left multiple water stains and had two fans. The manager knocked on my door on Monday asking to install another fan in the bathroom, which sounded like an airplane running all night.I reached out to the owner. Stating I was disappointed. And that I assumed he was made aware of the leak.I have sensory disorder and the sound of the fan in the bathroom, which made it incredibly hot, difficult to maneuver around in and woke me up at 4 o’clock Tuesday morning definitely impacted my sleep and the overall experience at this place
Great place in an easy to get to location off the 5. Place was spacious, clean and AC’d. Kitchen was well equipped to exceed our needs for dinner in. Bed was very comfy. Wi-Fi was very easy to access and plenty of bandwidth. Big TV with a nice picture made for a great movie night. Bathroom was clean, well lit and spacious. Water pressure in the shower was awesome! Pet friendly place gave my little guy a nice place to chill. To conclude, we will definitely look for Vince’s place for our next trip to Seattle.
Clean property great location. Be sure to check your email for all the guides he sends out and instructions on the house. I kept looking for them in Vrbo but all the instructions you’ll need are sent via email so just keep an eye on that. Other than that I can’t complain any question I had it was addressed and being able to walk everywhere was awesome.
