The Suburban Farmhouse" where old meets new.

Wind down from a busy day in newly built, above garage apartment (finished July 2021) next to my 1909 farmhouse. Surrounded by an English garden, this apartment has vaulted ceilings and a beautiful view of the Cascade Mountain Range. Fully stocked kitchen with an extended counter for work, play games or a nice meal. The living space has a 5 star queen size air sofa bed. The bedroom has a full closet, full size dresser, and a queen size select comfort bed. The apartment has full size bath tub with removable shower head on a hose. Laundry can be done in the full size washer & dryer. There is a small deck with a small table and 2 chairs overlooking one of the beautiful gardens. This property is located within walking distance to downtown Bothell where there are many great places to eat and to drink then have dessert! The city of Bothell provides the city park, including the Bothell historical museum, the library, and city hall and the Bothell Police Department are downtown. Along Bothell Way you will find banks, grocery and convenience stores, pop-up shops, McMenamins, medical and dental clinics and various shopping venues all sure to please every individual.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Put all used sheets, bathroom, and kitchen towels in the washer. The detergent pods and the bleach are underneath the kitchen sink.. The pod goes in the washer and the bleach in the left side tray.
Please remove all food from the refrigerator or any other place that you may have kept it and put it in the trash and take the trash out into the garbage bin which is underneath the stairway.
Please put all the dirty dishes in the dishwasher and the dishwasher pod is underneath the kitchen sink and start the dishwasher.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Please park by the grass on the left side of the garage.
Trash cans are under the stairs. Big blue one is recyclables. The small grey is trash. Please put sheets, towels in washer with bleach and turn on.
Please put dishes in dishwasher and turn it on when leaving. Soap is under the sink. Please hand wash sharp knives to keep them sharp.

Quaint, centrally located guesthouse

A wonderful stay in a great location, central to many areas for the week. Clean with all needed for a comfortable stay. Quiet neighborhood with parking and easy access to the unit. Beautiful gardens all around the house and Joni was a gracious host.

The property was a little farther outside of Seattle than I anticipated but was worth the extra drive. The property was as listed and nice to have the space to unwind. Wonderful Property!

Enjoyed a lovely 4 day stay at this property in Bothell. My husband & I were there to visit our 9-month old grandson in Kirkland. The apartment was just perfect for our stay/ needs. Comfy, very clean, well-appointed, easy check-in. Joni was super nice & responsive to our questions & let us check-in early since our flight arrived early in the am. We highly recommend staying here & would return again in the future!!

Lovely apartment!

Joni’s garage apartment is beautifully appointed, with lots of little extras like snacks and whimsical decor! The place is clean, there are instructions for everything, and the location was perfect for my visit. The only thing I would suggest is to add a hook in the bathroom and recaulk the tub/shower surround. I highly recommend this rental and hope to come back again! Thanks for the hospitality….

Holiday Stay

We had a lovely time getting to know Bothell while we welcomed a grandson into the family. The location is ideal-close to downtown and near shopping yet tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The apartment was beautifully decorated for Christmas and was a welcome retreat at the end of each day. The host was friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again.

Property manger is a joy to work with, the apt is clean extremely well appointed. Very quiet neighborhood. Close to Woodinville wine tastings, I -405 and ez access to I -5 a few miles away.

Very cute place, nice greenery all around

We had a great stay at Joni’s. The place was a good size and you can tell a great amount of pride and care has been taken to renovate and decorate it. She has also put in a lot of thought on providing effort to make your stay comfortable and with details like snacks, female care products, and a detailed welcome book. We would easily stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Well appointed decorations and comfortable sleep number bed. Quiet and clean. They had Christmas decorations up and was decorated perfectly. Snack tray in kitchen was WONDERFUL!!! Close to so many places and Bothell Landing. Highly recommend this place to stay!

Charming Getaway

This is a delightful place to stay. The location is close to interstate access points, is walking distance to downtown Bothell, and is in a quiet suburban neighborhood. The host is very friendly, responsive and accommodating to any request or question. The place is comfortable, well-lit, and stocked with pots, pans, plates, etc. to stay for a few days or several weeks.

Very nice

The house was lovely and clean. Host was good at communicating. We had to do a lot of clean up according to their check out procedures before leaving which took an hour and a half, which was frustrating. Other than that a great place to stay.

Photos do not do it justice. It is much larger than I thought it would be. Very bright, clean and comfortable. I would most definitely recommend to anyone interested in booking. Alaskan Cruise

We had a Great Time!!! Joni is a kind and friendly host. Property was great and in a very quiet neighborhood. We had a couple of days to relax before our cruise. We had a great time in Seattle and visiting Mt. Rainier. Next time in Seattle we’re looking forward to having a longer visit. We would recommend The Suburban Farmhouse!
