"This hotel is a gem if you want a slow weekend in the country. This area is stunning. The hotel is so charming, the hotel is situated right in the middle of the horse stud in beautiful historic buildings. There are birds everywhere so just lovely place to relax and listen to them. "Honestly, we expected the hotel to be good, but it actually surpassed our expectations in pretty much every way. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful from the minute we walked in the door, but never fussy. We were able to just switch off and relax, but there was always someone around when we needed them. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all fantastic and the wine from the vineyard was terrific.
