Apartment 9 is on the 2nd floor of our building and offers a split-level apartment with living, dining, and kitchen facilities downstairs and 2 bedrooms upstairs. Each bedroom has a wet room - which offers a shower, sink, and toilet.
There are two bedrooms in apartment 9; one offers a super king-size bed that can be split into twins and the other bedroom offers a double bed with a single bunk bed above it, plus another set of bunks. Sleeping up to 6 guests in total.
The kitchen is a fully integrated kitchen with everything you would need including a washing machine with condenser dryer, oven, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, and toaster.
Only a two-minute walk into the small centre of Sedbergh which offers lots of lovely cafes, pubs, and restaurants.
Free onsite parking and also free WiFi, children's games, travel cots, and high chairs.

Dales Way Accommodation
I stayed here with a group of friends for a couple of nights due our Dales Way long distance walk. This accommodation really does offer excellent value for money and is ideally located in the charming town of Sedbergh. Customer service is first rate and I would highly recommend Howgills as a base if you are looking to explore this beautiful part of the world.

Two night stay
The apartment was very clean, reasonably well presented, but with slightly tired looking decoration and especially the doors. The electric heating was a nightmare to control / understand how it operated. Excellent location close to the high street in Sedburgh. On arrival the lounge / kitchen area had a strong smell of cooking, needed to have some windows opened for ventilation.

Great place to stay!
We really enjoyed our stay in Ap’t 9. Beds were comfortable. Only king bed we found in all our UK travels this time! It was great having 2 bathrooms. All nicely renovated. Used the kitchen a lot—it is well equipped! Appreciated having the washing machine for our laundry. It is a quiet neighborhood. Nice parking space. Great views from the windows of the fells beyond the town. Great location within the town (close to stores, pubs,…). Lots of hikes of all lengths and difficulty levels you can do right from Sedbergh. Easy drives further into the Lake District. Amy was very helpful on arrival. Met the owners as we were leaving — very warm and friendly. It is nice that they are locals.

Excellent choice for a winter stay
Helpful and friendly staff. Super location close to Main Street and at start of walks in the hills or along the river. Allocated parking space. Well equipped kitchen. Flat very clean. Beds including bunk really comfortable. Effective heating.

England Netball Team Use
We used the Howgills Apartments for a training camp at Sedbergh School. Staff at Howgills were incredibly helpful (particularly Amy!) in their communication before our stay and throughout the time we were there. The apartments were easy to access using the code on the door and were immaculately clean on arrival. Excellent self-catering facilities and a great location with ample parking. The apartments were perfect for our use for a training camp. We would definitely use them again if we return. Many Thanks!

Excellent stay!
We stayed here on a company Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge for 2 nights. The apartments were in an ideal location within the village, very close to the local amenities. They were perfect for what we needed and had plenty of clean towels, bedding and crockery etc. Thanks for letting us stay!

Cosy family getaway
This was our third stay at Howgill Apartments. The location of the accommodation is perfect for access to great walks and the town centre (a book town which means there's lots of second hand book shops and a book/bus shelter).
The lounge area in the apartment has comfy sofas and a Smart TV with WiFi (a must for our kids!) with great views over the fells. The kitchen is very well equipped to cook a full family meal, a nice big fridge with freezer and and an all important dishwasher! Tea, coffee and milk on arrival was well received as was the bed linen and towels, washing up equipment and tea towels.
The mattresses are very comfy - perfect after a days walking and the two wet rooms with showers were spotlessly clean and also welcome after a day in the fells. It is lovely and quiet on Bainbridge Road which made for a very relaxing stay. Dedicated off street parking too made it convenient and safe for the kids.
