"Indian restaurant food is tasteless due to overspicing, and premises are run-down and dingy. Staff is scruffy and check-in is slow. Bar is a dark squalid place where some local men consume alcohol while apparently awaiting female professionals hired for fun. "We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Ezra from the lounge went the extra mile to make sure we had an extraordinary time. She was attentive to our needs every evening. The property was beautiful and well-maintained. It is definitely worth renting a car because parking is free and it is a bit off the normal path. "
"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Aloft Hotel Muscat. From arrival, the hotel impressed us with its welcoming atmosphere, spotless cleanliness, and beautiful fragrance. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and perfectly maintained.
The lobby and entrance areas are inviting, with books, a pool table, and foosball. The pool area features fun décor, tables with built-in chess boards, and a variety of games. Facilities like the sauna, jacuzzi, and gym made it easy to relax and stay active. Ample car parking made arrivals and departures very convenient.
We opted for half board and were delighted with the food. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including delicious omelettes by Chef Rahul and delightful pastries and cakes by Chef Nabil, which made both breakfast and dinner even more enjoyable.
The hotel’s central location is convenient for touring Muscat. While the surrounding area is still developing, it promises to become more vibrant over time.
The highlight of our stay was the incredible staff. Led by their captain Ali, every team member went above and beyond. Special thanks to Rahma, Leira, Molka, Ganesh, Puspendu, Tobi, Abutalib, Adesh – and the hardworking housekeeping staff, who kept our room immaculate. I hope I haven’t forgotten anyone, as every member of the team was outstanding.
