"We had a room on the first floor and at first I was skeptical. Cute entry to the hotel, but the room had an outside view of an alley and bars on the windows. I learned this is common of first floors. We kept the blinds closed and it actually motivated us to get out of the room more and enjoy the hotel’s gorgeous common spaces and the city. For sleeping and getting ready the room was soundproof, dark for sleeping, spacious and very comfortable. Overall, I’d definitely recommend the breakfast buffet and the hotel, especially in the off season when the prices are very reasonable."
