Dinner on-site after arrival was well appreciated. And they had local cuisine, I chose the venison ragout (served with too much spaetzel) while he chose rump steak which was very good, served with fries and grilled veggies. Breakfast was nice, scrambled eggs, bacon/weiners, standard cold cut and cheese options, along with yogurt and fruit (some canned). Room was adequate, the blankets were sub-standard, no blackout curtains, no refer and mostly dated with plastic (~30"x36") shower but NO SOAP (really??). Parking was a disaster, with an extra 35 euro to pay in a nearby lot since the recommended lot was already full (annoying). Staff was very pleasant coming in and going out. Maybe not stay there again.

Decent budget Gasthof in the centre of Seefeld. Small and functional no-frills rooms, but fresh linen every day, a good breakfast, and very friendly staff. Can also recommend the restaurant for an evening meal.

Charming

It’s an old style, very charming place with a lot to recommend it. Good price, excellent service, stellar location, good restaurant on site. An ordinary room is pretty uncomfortable, very, very small with a cramped bathroom. The decor is pretty old and the electrical inconvenient. Spring for their largest room and your experience will be much better.

The reception staff were disappointing. While I was speaking to them, they were also serving customers in the restaurant, which felt unprofessional and inattentive. The bathroom was also in very poor condition and needs urgent improvement. Overall, not a satisfying experience.

On the road

It was obviously that the waitress in the restaurant did not like her job. Dinner ok. Otherwise, hotel ok for a one night stop.

Restaurant on site closes at 9 pm. We went down to eat at 8:15 and kitchen was closed… nothing around that the kitchen stays open passed that even if it says restaurant closes at 10:30, we called for takeout at 8:20 and kitchen was closed….
