"We spent four very quiet and restful days at this location. Well appointed with a lovely sunroom, firepit, and walking access to a sandy swimming spot on beautiful Upper Beverley Lake. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean and had all the amenities. The bedrooms were comfortable and the air conditioning made the hot Summer day comfortable. Very quiet, peaceful area! Had a wonderful time."

"We stayed at Gecieve Opinicon for a weekend in late April, the weather didn’t cooperate but the little cottage and property were perfectly set up for comfort, rain or shine. We had a fantastic time. Everything that you could possibly need was provided by the amazing host. We can’t wait to book again! Highly recommend this property."

The huge bathtub is great for a relaxing soak. The large kitchen is big enough for prepping meals with a group. The solid wood accents throughout the house give homage to its past. "This is an authentic old country house with original, solid wood furniture and comfy chairs. It has the quirky bits of old architecture (tiny toilets) but was clean and in good repair. The stars at night were spectacular without other light pollution."
