"Loved the town, very cute"

"We stayed two nights during our honeymoon. The hotel/room/town were all adorable. Our suite was spacious and clean. There’s a bus stop in front of and across the street from the hotel. Ettal Abbey is also across from the hotel. The front desk has a visitor card for guests to use for free local bus travel (after 5 euro deposit/per person). We used it to travel to the Schloss Linderhof and Oberammergau. We used the pool, saunas and massage amenities. Absolutely loved our stay and wish we stayed longer."

"We truly enjoyed our time at this hotel. There is a beer garden right outside of the hotel and the view is just so picturesque. The hotel staff are all friendly and super helpful. Breakfast was amazing! There are also a lot of really good restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. The room itself is quite spacious (no a/c) but have big windows for airflow. The area is super quiet and is near the train station. We will definitely stay here again."

"A lovely hotel in a small village with lots going on away from the hustle and bustle of Munich. The rooms were very large with a good sized bathroom. Very friendly staff at the front desk and restaurant; highly recommend eating there as the food is delicious and plentiful. Well served by the train service and easily reached from the station. Highly recommended. "

"Actually a wonderful German hotel in a small town. Very clean, and the woman who runs the restaurant is wonderful with us stumbling Americans. Mostly Germans on holiday or biking. Was there because a friend wanted to return where he spent his youth as a military brat. But be warned, no air conditioning, like everywhere else summers are warmer. Cool at night with windows open, no bugs."

"This is a getaway for locals alike, which is all you need to know. My family has frequented this hotel for decades and while visiting from the US, I picked this for a quick getaway with my husband. We enjoyed fantastic wellness facilities, including a sauna, followed by a dip in the pool, relaxing by the lake and a swim in the lake. Imagine a pristine lake, surrounded by the Alps and random sailboats in the water as your view. What more do you need? Let me add, it was peaceful. All I heard were waves outside my balcony. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious with lake view, of course. Staff was kind and helpful. Book here, you won’t be disappointed. "
