"We were confused and could not follow the instructions on how to check in. Really needed to have a car because you check in at one place and then are sent to where you are actually staying. Never did figure it out to check in. Very difficult if you have to schlep your bags by yourself. "

"Travelled with my wife and only chose the town because she was keen to experience the nearby Bagni San Fillipo.But Gli Archi and the town Abbadia San Salvatore both pleasantly surprised us. The house and our room were spotless and the owner lovelly.Room was huge and breakfast tasty. The Abbadia (Abbey) proved to be memorable,especially the multi columned crypt! Nearby Ospedale was perfect for all day free parking an easy walk from B&B."

"Property is very clean with extremely good location-inside walls with excellent dining and some shopping. Host is helpful. Be aware, this is a mountain-too town so parking is a couple blocks away with steep walking. Call host before arrival for directions to park. It was difficult for me or Expedia to contact host, but he was cooperative and helpful when we arrived. Very nice, large room and bath. Quiet considering it is on main street. I recommend the facility and location highly. "

"Small but very clean and nice, and staff was friendly and helpful. Short walk to either Saturnia or Cascata del Mulino Hot springs. One warning, this lodging is more convenient with a car, but we did manage with walking and a local bus from Albinia."

We visited nearby towns and sampled local wine plus visited Saturnia hot springs - a worthy day trip. Only 10 min to grocery store and hospital but a world away - like being back in time. The owner was communicative and offered great suggestions. This place is very special. We would highly recommend...

"The 5 adults in our party all agreed that Castango is like living in a work of art. The setting looking over to Seggiano is fantastic! However, the construction of this building reflected attention to detail for function as well as beauty. The small fresco in the stairway, the lighted stairway to the second floor and the beamed ceilings all took our breath away. Not to be forgotten are the lush grounds with beautiful roses everywhere. "The location is great, you have beautiful Tuscan view in front of yard. The room and bathroom are large, clean and modern with full kitchen. Good choice of breakfast, restaurant onsite is good for dinner. Free parking is good for travel by car."
