"The house, though not state of the art, was okay. Everything we needed was available. The rooms are spacious as the kitchen is. The garden was so beautiful. We couldn't stop watching (we were at the right time I suppose). Flowers were still blooming and there was an abbundance of fruit and vegetables we were allowed to use. This and the absolute silence was overwhelming.The environment of the estate is beautiful and quiet as well. Ghislaine is a very nice host. Present when needed. "

"Stayed at this amazing property my for one night with work colleagues before a work meeting in Fontainebleau. This is a private residence where the family and small staff serve you as if you are family visiting their home. The difference is the meals and the service are exquisite and your every whim is catered to; including a fire waiting for you outside the home ( … aka mansion) after dinner. Each room has its own private restroom and the decor takes you back in time as if you are visiting royalty. The estate is open to you for walks and cocktails on the patio. This is a must stay if you have the opportunity."

"Dated hotel in need of some TLC and cleaning as there were several cobwebs in the room. Pillowcase was poor material and bed hard. Breakfast had gone up in price in two weeks and there was a limited range."

"Such a lovely place for our stop off on our way down to Valencia. Nice to relax by the pool while the children had a swim after a long drive. Hosts were so lovely, a guided tour of the property and lovely home cooked simple food. We will be recommending this place. Good luck in your plans for future renovations to the rooms. "We had a wonderful stay at La Brauderie, the caravan/ Shepherds Hut was superb with an idyllic location and Julie was a superb host. Breakfast was excellent and very French! We only stayed one night and wished it was longer and we hope to return. "
