"Just a delightful experience. A small (2 room) place in a villa in Salernes with a wonderful pool. We were the only guests during our two nights stay and it was a highlight during our road trip. A wonderful hospital couple that made us feel so welcome without interfering with our privacy. They served a delicious breakfast by the poolside each morning, including home made cakes. "Clean and well decorated. staff friendly since there is no elevator to go to the room upstairs the staff help carry the luggage upstairs for us .breakfast is good and dining room area with bright good outdoor view . There is a clear clean outdoor swimming pool and chair for guest to enjoy . free parking just beside hotel ."

"Beautiful villa converted into hotel by extending the property. Very modern interior. The property is only 2 stories surrounding a modern pool area with an attached bar area. Our room was on the first floor pool side. It was large and spacious. They had a bottle of wine awaiting us with a sweet hand written note. The room was modern and up to date. The bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom was also modern and had all amenities. The property is in a small cozy town with a few restaurants, boulangeries and ice cream shop, etc. It is about half an hour from Moustiers-Sainte-Marie and about 45 minutes from Gorges du Verdon. Since we checked in late, they allowed us quite a late check out. This was an excellent property that I highly recommend and would stay there again."

"The facility is upscale, clean and well kept. The main issue was the restaurant staff. The hotel has 4 restaurants and there is large number of staff they hired. However, the staff were untrained and uncoordinated. For instance we saw the reception and let them know we are there for a drink late night, and they seated us. Another server came by and said this restaurant (La Source) is only for eating and asked us to leave. That left a horrible taste and totally ruined the night. Same issues at breakfast where we showed up and there was no one to receive us. The tea was cold and I had to wait for 5-10 min to get a hold of a server and asked for a hot tea.. chateau de la guide is a great establishment and has the potential to be a lot better once they can fix the staff skill and professionalism. One more thing, we dined at the bar and the food was really bad. The beef skewers were super s wet and overcooked. Tempura was absolutely cold and charcuterie was stale. Lots of opportunities here"

"A bit disappointed the beautiful pictured pool was green and closed. It was almost 90° and no pool? A real miss when you're spending multiple days there. Also very surprised there is NO vending on site. There is hardly any place local to get a beverage or something to eat and you have nothing. You've been open for two years, time to get some vending in your hotel. The breakfast buffet was unfortunately, underwhelming. Not much variety and not very good quality. Otherwise a very nice, peaceful stay. Room was clean and accommodating."

"The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Great place for children to play and run around. We particularly enjoyed staying under the tree in the shaded area. The room and bathroom are very good size. The location is ideal and very peaceful. Only 30 minutes to Marseille or Aix en Provence. Accessible by public transport. I took a bus back to the airport in Marseille and it was very easy."
