"Authentically French, though owned by chatty Americans; the room (the green room) was spacious with very high ceilings and a quaint bathroom attached. The bed was very hard, but large, with lights and sockets each side. No USB charging, but the wifi was sufficient to watch a movie on my laptop one night. (No in-room TV). Breakfast was croissant and bread. Easy reach from Dieppe, but felt in the middle of nowhere."

"We stayed in the zen room. There was a separate en suite toilet and bathroom. Jean-Marc and Patricia were very sweet hosts and had thought of everything you could wish for in the property. The breakfast was filling with a wide choice including fresh fruit, home made yoghurt, cold meats, cheeses and eggs."

You need a car to stay here, and sat nav to find it but that is the beauty of the place. There is a nice pool and a library / billiards room. Breakfast was fresh and locally sourced. "I found this place by accident. How pleased I am that I did. If you have never been to Normandy ( or even if you have), you must try L'Etape Normande. The accommodation has been converted to an exceptionally high standard. The free use of the spa was very welcome after a long days drive and the breakfast we were provided with, consisting of local cheeses, bread, ham, smoked salmon and home made preserves was simply a delight.
