"Clean and quiet place. The room I got doesn’t get much natural light as the windows are tiny (on the wall near the ceiling) but the lights, once switched on are bright. Air cond is cold, shower/toilet is clean and basic. There is hot water and water pressure is good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would be great to have a working power point next to the bed - some maintenance needed on this. "Amazing little place! We absolutely loved it, you get free breakfast and free massages included with the price of a private room. The restaurant is one of the best around too! Staff so accommodating and friendly, a hidden gem right in the heart of Canggu. We actually tried to stay a second time and were gutted it was fully booked so definitely book in advance! "

As it was my first time to bali i was unsure of where to go and what to do. Balik drove me on his scooter almost everyday for free, although this may not always be the case. They also remt scooters. On my last day we had a family dinner which was amazing. "

"Having on hand printed my already paid booking with Expedia, where the room was pool view (was on the description of my booking), they tell me that to have that room I would pay extra money, I choose the room with pool view and air conditioning but they give me a room behind the hotel with a fan. We only spent one night there and we lost the money for the rest of the days. Could be a problem between Expedia and the Hotel but the hotel only ask for more money and Expedia doesn't allow to cancel...

"Staff was so accomodating and nice. Felt well tsken care of dueing our stay. The villa qas wxactly as the pictures showed and we loved it. Only downside is other dining and shops are not wothin easy walking distance but that was also part of the appeal. We didnt want to be in the middle of the tourist hustle and bustle. This also allowed us to not get stuck in traffic when our driver took us to activitiee. Overall i wpuld stay here again! "

"Impeccably clean, modern decor, comfortable beds, friendly staff and a great breakfast. A little far away from the beach and shops but its cheap and easy to get Gojek everywhere. Highly recommend."

"Villa Kayu Raja is in a good location, but not really walkable to restaurants or the beach, especially at night. The sidewalk ends a bit before the villa, so you’re left walking in the busy street. The villa itself is nice, but I was unimpressed with the private pool. It is very small and the yard itself is deceiving in size from the pictures. Virtually no sunlight comes into the pool area as well, so the pool is a bit chilly and you aren’t able to do any sun tanning. The price is a bit steep...
