Amazing country home in Icelandic scenic nature, close to mature attractions

Solhlid is a wonderful vacation home for 6 persons with a huge deck, nestled on a private country lot within a serene and secure area. The home is providing a delightful retreat with a amazing hot tub and walking paths through the woods. There are smoke detectors, 3 bedrooms (1 with queen bed, 2 with x2 twin beds), bathroom with a shower. Fully equipped kitchen (f.ex. Fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave) and a washing machine. Bedrooms have blackout curtains to lock out the midnight sun so you can sleep well. Big living room with dining area and 2 sliding doors to a deck with grill and another dining set as well as sitting area by the hot tub. Good and secure area for children to play and enjoy the nature.

Better in person

This property is an absolute gem in the Golden Circle loop. We wanted to be centralized between all of our stops, including the Golden Circle, Heimaey Island, and numerous waterfalls, which is why we targeted this location. We also found being close to Selfoss an advantage since it has everything you could need. The pictures of the house and property don't do it justice. This is a well set up house, including a kitchen that had everything we needed to cook at home and laundry. The geothermal hot tub has a beautiful view. Sola was very responsive through the entire trip. This location exceeded our expectations, we would happily go back.
