"This hotel was perfect. Clean, helpful and courteous staff. Some people will find the rooms small but they were adequate for our 10 day stay. Great location for public transport and walking distance to the center of Reykjavik. Would definitely stay here again."

"Loved the pods, my partner and i both felt like we had plenty of space, the bed was SO comfortable and it was a great place to wind down in after a full day of walking around reykjavík. we booked with breakfast which consisted of an apple, skyr, pastry, granola, marmalade and a juice. it was delicious and filling and came perfectly packed in a reusable to go bag. We will absolutely be staying here again on our next trip!"

"Walking distance to very good restaurants, convenience stores, etc. Parking available at the back on a first come serve bases. Happy marriage pastry bars were on the breakfast buffet—-sooo good! All the employees were so helpful and polite. Hope to come back again one day."

"Lovely hotel. We arrived on a Saturday and were pleasantly surprised that our room was ready a couple of hours before check-in, which was greatly appreciated after traveling. We stayed in Room 808 (an executive room,) which was clean, comfortable, and appeared to have been refreshed recently. One unique feature was the shared balcony on the 8th floor, where we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights one evening. Access is through a door outside the guest rooms rather than directly from the room itself, which we actually preferred. Some rooms do have direct balcony access, so if you use the shared space, just be mindful of noise and avoid standing directly in front of other guests' doors. The breakfast was quite good. There was a nice selection of coffee and tea, eggs, bacon, sausage, skyr, fresh fruit, assorted breads, and pastries, which gave us plenty of options before heading out for the day. The only issue we encountered was that a couple of days into our stay I noticed I had been charged the full cost of the room on my credit card even though I had prepaid through Hotels.com. When I mentioned it at the front desk, the staff quickly looked into it and processed a refund right away. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. The room was clean, the staff was helpful, the breakfast was good, and the early check-in was a wonderful surprise. I'd happily stay here again and would recommend it to others visiting Iceland."

"Superior service from reception desk and waiters/waitresses. Reception desk will call you at night if northern lights are visible. And the northern lights bar is a lovely, open place to sit, day or night. Dinners were consistently excellent in the beautiful glass-enclosed restaurant, although only the fish changes each day. But we had the fish each night and each time it was superbly prepared. Seafood chowder and gull cheese are stand-out appetizers. Terrific thermal pool."
