A great place in the middle of most everything we wanted to do

What's not to like! Loved the view, the sauna the hottub, and the separate guest house that gave our two couples lots of privacy when we wanted it.

The house was exactly as pictured. It was clean, modern, and spacious for our group. The beds were set up to accommodate our group dynamics (couples versus singles) and extra pillows provided. The kitchen was well stocked for meals, and the hot tub and sauna were a great addition for the evenings. The biggest perk was the location in regard to the Golden Circle sights. We were able to visit everything in the area with only a short drive and then Selfoss was nearby for meals and the grocery store. The hosts were thoughtful and left detailed instructions for everything. I would highly recommend this home for your Iceland adventure.

Great property!

This is a great property in a perfect location. Quiet and remote but an easy drive to the golden circle and Selfoss Town. The hot tub was great and the accommodations were very nice.

Beautiful cabin, great location

This is a beautiful, well appointed cabin in close proximity to the Golden Circle and national park. The hot tub and sauna are extras that set this property apart. We had a lovely stay here.

Beautiful house, great for Northern Light viewing!

The house was perfect for our family of 6 and the location is very convenient to do things in the south. The location is the best for watching the Northern Lights, no need to drive anywhere!

Perfect Cabin

The Cabin is perfect to relax and get in touch with the nature of Iceland. Wellness with Sauna and Whirlpool with a fantastic view. 2 hours by car from the airport, 1 hour drive to tourist spots like Geysir and waterfalls. We had a fantastic stay and lifetime experience.

Really loved the place. Location and amenities like hot tub and steam room were great. The main shower probably needs a simple shower curtain and a trash can, but the place we wonderful.

Family Vacation with Parents

My husband and I came to Iceland with my parents for a family vacation. We rented Fensalir cabin for 4 nights and it was the perfect spot for us to have our own space while also spending quality time together. The house was very clean, the views were incredible, and the sauna and hot tub were an added bonus. We saw the northern lights one night when the skies were clear! We all said we would absolutely recommend Fensalir cabin to friends and family who plan to travel to Iceland in the future!

Wonderful stay

We had an incredible trip and the house was immaculate, sleek and in a stunning location. Only negative (very minor) was that the dryer was slow to dry and we could have used one more duvet cover and a few extra towels, but everything was truly lovely.

Loved the place! Super great location and setup. I was disappointed not all the bed had sheets and they forgot to give us a crib. Owner was quick to fix it. The gate is annoying, but it is an all of Iceland thing

Serene Hot Tub

Nice size house with guest house. Perfect for our 7 people. All of us could fit comfortably in the serene hot tub which we enjoyed immensely. Nice base to explore the area. Highly recommend.

Family Celebration

The cabin was the perfect base to explore the southern part of Iceland. We were a family of 5 adults, the cabin gave us plenty of space. The location is remote, perfect for seeing the Northern Lights, but close to Selfoss and the Golden Circle sights. It was extremely well equipped with the bonus of the hot-tub and sauna. It is even better than the photos.

Cozy Stay at the Fensalir cabin

We had a fabulous time exploring Iceland from this cabin. It was spectacular having a hot tub and sauna to use every day. The place was comfortable, clean and big enough for our family. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen!

Amazing stay in the coziest place!

A bunch of my med school friends and I stayed here for our trip to Iceland and we were so pleased with the experience. It was the perfect basecamp for us as we travel mostly during the day and came back to the best amenities and such a great open space for all of us to relax. Communication was thorough but through WhatsApp and through a very detailed handbook left inside! Would absolutely recommend this place to future guests!

Cozy Comfort in the Heart of Iceland's Beauty

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy and clean cabin, perfectly situated near many of Iceland's stunning natural attractions. The owner had thoughtfully prepared an excellent manual that answered all our questions, and he was always easy to reach and quick to respond to any requests. Even during a big storm, the house kept us warm and comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during our visit to Iceland!

Exceptional house and location

The property was absolutely perfect for my group. We had great weather and viewed the northern lights 6 of 7 nights while at the property. Which was awesome saved me from driving to other locations yes the landscape did not change but the views were still amazing. I would absolutely stay here again if I return to Iceland. Yes it is a bit of a drive to Reykajavik but the location is great for touring the south coast, golden circle, and areas around the national park.
