"We really enjoyed the beer garden in the afternoon. The wait staff at the bar, dinner and breakfast were very good. The room was a little small but very comfortable. The bathroom was very nice too. We’d definitely recommend this hotel."

"Room was really spacious and quiet, with an enormous comfy bed. Good selection of teas in the room. Bicycles were locked away. Really good selection for cooked breakfast. The only thing we didn't like was that the shower was in the bath but this didn't detract from the rest of the stay and we would definitely stay here again."

"We all absolutely no complaints on our stay, the properly was cleaned for our arrival and we even had a cake with some wine left for our arrival. I only gave 4 stars for accuracy of online listing due to the maps location on the posting did not match where the location actually was and we got a lil lost but a quick call with the host and we found it. "

"I can't say enough about this place. Our stay was exceptional and revitalizing; If you're looking for quiet and solitude this is the place to go. You can hear bird chirping, no road noise, and the gardens are beautiful. The food was fantastic. I can't say enough about the staff. They are amazing and everything you wished a hotel staff would be. They catered to us like we were the only ones there. If you want a quiet place to go to after a day exploring the Borderlands in Scotland; this is the place. Even if you just want a place to relax and unwind for a few days this is a great place to go. "
