"Fantastic location in a very picturesque setting with a lovely little river flowing across the bottom of the field. The Shepherds hut was spotless with home made cakes an eggs supplied by the owner. The only thing that spoiled it for us was the chemical toilet smell that seemed to linger around the hut and we had to burn a lavender candle (provided ) to take it away. Not sure if it is normal for it to smell strongly but looking at previous reviews , probably not. "

The lodge was great and very clean, beautifully decorated with some autumn/halloween decorations making it more homely and seasonal. Beds were comfortable, hot tub great and in a good location for the lake and clubhouse"
