"The first room we were given was dirty and had mould but we were quickly moved to another room which was clean. The rooms were not soundproof as advertised and didn't look the same as they were advertised. The staff were very friendly and helpful. For a short stay it's not too bad, however not sure I'd recomend for a long stay. Make sure to bring shampoo etc and a hairdryer as our room didn't have them although I'm sure this could potentially have been rectified if we had asked. "

"We had a lovely stay at The Hood Arms. The owner was so friendly and hospitable, letting us have a late check in. We slept brilliantly and had a very nice full English breakfast in the morning. Would definitely recommend! "
