"All was lovely. The staff were pleasant. Typical Javanese Breakfast of rice, noodles, tempeh and coffee was good. The room was nice and location was on a quite Street just off of Ijen with several local restaurants nearby. We were hoping to extend our stay for a week but the WiFi was nonexistent and we could not get cell service in the room. WiFi worked okay in the lobby just outside but because of this we found another hotel just around the corner."

First the good....few employees are 5 STAR: 1) Miss Mayan from the Reception is nice, polite, helpful, speaks good English. 2) Miss Rara from the Reception is nice and polite. 3) Mr. Harry for the Cafe/Restaurant is nice, polite. "We had a totally satisfactory stay here. The hotel is dated but they clean it well and the staff are very pleasant. The breakfast options were ample and in the local style. We found the bed comfortable and the room quiet considering the bustling central location. A good base foe exploring the area. It’s very close to the heritage area with many great cafes."
