"Good size apartment, very clean, just 10 minutes walk from the lake, easy to access by car. Our apartment (12) was very quiet and had none of the road noise others mentioned. There was no one on reception when we arrived but the check in was all sorted for us and no problem. The supermarket is very convenient also."

"Awesome place a block from historic Ljubljana. Comfortable mini apartments with a gated parking lot. We had the basement apartment 3 - maybe the smallest and we thought great place. Can only imagine the other ones. No on-site staff, but don’t let that stop you. Super responsive with messaging. And everything set up with coded key pads. And sent us list of recommended restaurants. Don’t miss the bars and restaurants near John the Baptist church close to Vila Emona."

"Right in the center of old town Ljubljana, with bars, restaurants and gelato just outside the front door. Beautifully remodeled and really quiet on the fourth floor. There is an elevator, so being on the fourth floor does not matter. If you have a car, the cheaper parking is a pleasant 5-10 min walk along the river. Great stay, highly recommend and would definitely come back."

"Absolutely loved my stay at this property! I came to attend a science congress and I am very sensitive to noise and do not sleep well in noisy environments, yet even though this apartment is in the city centre it was so amazingly quiet! And the host was kind enough to extend my stay for another day at very short notice. It could have not been a better location: walking distance from the congress venue, walking distance from bus/train station and the beautiful Tivoli park. Good price too. "

"We are so thankful Púa approved our request to stay at Barrio Alto! The apartment itself is lovely. Very comfortable bed, nice bathroom, comfortable sofa, and nice kitchen! It looks over a courtyard and we enjoyed watching the neighbor’s kitties play. The access to a washer AND dryer was exceptionally welcome as this was an 8 night stop in a 2 1/2 month journey. The location also could not be more perfect. Restaurants, museums, shops, bakeries, grocers, etc are everywhere and such fun walking...

"The historic center of Ljubljana is a delightful destination that has even improved since we visited 15 years ago. This lodging is so perfectly located you cannot do better if you’re a tourist or have business at the university. It is steps away from tourist sites and restaurants. If you want to prepare any of your own meals there is a nearby supermarket."

"Stasa was very responsive to our queries and the yard by the apartment is beautiful, even though we didn’t spend much time in it as we were out and about most of the time. Great water pressure in the showers and lots of hot water. Definitely recommend. Spacious main bedroom and comfortable second bedroom."

"Overall a nice property especially with the patio. Clean and comfortable. The two things not liked is the fridge could be colder and not finding out about cash payment instead of card until arriving created extra work and cost more since I had to pay the sevice fee for the exchange rate. "

The only hiccups was the “check-in system” was not working properly when we were doing the check in after the working hours. However, we managed to seek help from this bar at the lobby. The staff of the bar were very helpful! In a word, it was a pleasant stay and I would definitely recommend it. "
