This is the second time I've stayed here and it was wonderful. I love being in the station, close to the train lines and great restaurants. The room was spacious for two people and very clean. We were lucky to be on a floor with the laundry machine and didn't have to fight to use it, but there was only 1 machine on the floor so watch out. Great place, will probably always stay here when in Sendai.

My wife is a Sendai native so we come twice a year on average and have stayed in many hotels. This was hands down our favorite stay to date. The location is fantastic, incredibly convenient with all the shopping including retail, restaurants, pharmacy, grocery and atms including two 7/11 ATM floor two at the bottom of the elevator just around the corner for US visitors. You do not have to leave shelter to get to all trains and most subways. The hotel room itself was amazing, great views, comfortable beds and a great bathroom with a jetted tub on the premium room we booked that was a nice improvement for us over the public baths some hotels offer. The lounge was great for relaxing and getting a free coffee. The staff were all polite and offered excellent service, room service requests for amenities were almost Mr. Deeds fast lol, if you know you know. This will be our one and only from now on when visiting family in Sendai. Thank you for an incredible stay.

Extremely convenient (just above the train station), gorgeous rooms - clean, spacious, nice layout, nice view! A very cool lounge, gym and plenty restaurants and shopping options in walking range! Definitely recommend! Would stay here again in a heartbeat

The Sendai Metropolitan East is an excellent hotel I've stayed at numerous times and plan on staying there again. It is extremely convenient -- right at the main Sendai Japan Rail station -- but the hotel rooms are quiet (and very clean). There is also an excellent shopping area at the station as well as many excellent restaurants for all price ranges. The breakfast is reasonably priced and generally quite good but could use a wider selection of breads. All told, I give this hotel the highest recommendation.

I had an excellent stay at Hotel Metropolitan Sendai East. One of the hotel's biggest advantages is its outstanding location directly connected to JR Sendai Station, making it incredibly convenient for travel, sightseeing, and getting around the city. There are countless restaurants and dining options nearby, offering everything from local specialties to international cuisine. The hotel is also within easy walking distance of shopping centers and many attractions in and around the station area, making it a perfect base for exploring Sendai. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The hotel facilities were modern and well-kept, which made the stay even more enjoyable. What truly stood out was the friendly and welcoming staff. Everyone I encountered was courteous, professional, and eager to help, making the overall experience smooth and pleasant. I highly recommend Hotel Metropolitan Sendai East for its excellent location, easy access to dining and shopping, clean accommodations, and exceptional hospitality. I would gladly stay here again on my next visit to Sendai.

We were so grateful that the hotel is situated right at the Sendai JR station with direct access. It was a rainy day and our original plan was unfortunately scraped. We were still able to enjoy many great food and shopping right there without getting soaked in the rain. Hotel was clean and well-equipped, particularly appreciated the free soft drinks at the lounge!
