"What a fabulous hotel. Don’t be put off by its location in a commercial area. We stayed there for three nights to attend a wedding at the nearby Casa Sontanja. It was the perfect base. Just a short drive down the coast on our spare day. Whatever your reason for being in the area, I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough."

"Lovely hotel in a perfect location. Only issues were the pool areas are way over crowded so unless you are there at opening time you won’t get a space and if you do your packed in like sardines. The check in and check out process took way too long and felt complicated. The gym was great but had no AC which made it uncomfortable to train."

"3rd trip to the Serawa. Excellent small hotel with amazing staff. Joanna on reception is an asset to any business and is very very helpful. And Vania and Carmen made every breakfast fun and friendly. All of the guys in the kitchen help make what I can only say is my favourite breakfast. The gardeners are also very friendly and have done a fantastic job. The pool area does need some attention. New sunloungers and a bit of money spent on the poolside itself"

"We stayed at “The Apartment” which is located in a different building, about 5 minutes walking from the hotel. Beautifully decorated and impeccable, cute little patio (if you like cats, please let the hotel know so they will let them go in). The j Hotel lobby is gorgeous. Expedia didn’t explain that the parking is €17 daily and NOT included. Also you need to leave a €20 deposit in cash only, to take the parking remote with you."
