The Lofoten Islands get all the love in Northern Norway, but there are plenty of other islands and towns further north that are just as pretty. For example: the town of Husøy, pictured here. It's a fishing village located on its own tiny island in the fjords.

The website lied about multiple things. They claimed to have laundry services on-site. There were available in the entire town. We arrived with no clean clothes, ready to wash them, and were stuck hand washing clothes in the sink. They also lied about having 24 hour reception. The reception closed ...

Check-in was convenient. The room was clean and quiet. The disappointment was that our rooms were in the basement with shared bathroom. They were not like the picture shows on the front of the water.

We had a marvellous stay and Katherine couldn’t have been more helpful. What a special place to stay. Would definitely recommend, especially for the views and possibility of seeing the northern lights. The sauna and jacuzzis are a must, the views from both are outstanding.

Dommage pour les 200 mètres de chemin à monter à pied avec bagages surtout en pleine saison de neige, cela a été très physique.
