Green Hill Hotel Onomichi
10/10 Excellent
"I had a wonderful 3 nights stay at the Green Hill Hotel. The staff was very helpful and welcoming and the room absolutely spotless. I was in Onomichi for the Shimanami Kaido experience plus a day of sightseeing and I thought the hotel was perfectly located for both of those. It is also right in front of the train station, quite practical. The availability of the laundry in the hotel was really a plus. Will definitely return to the Onomichi area and at this hotel. I highly recommend."
Hiroshima Airport Hotel

"We missed our connection and made last minute reservation. 5 min walk from the terminal. Looked new but was told it’s over 30 yo. Pleasant surprise to get lounge access. BF was surprisingly good for an airport hotel. Staff super helpful. Room was small and amenities basic but super good value for money. Enthusiastically recommended!"

"hotel might need a refresh from the nineties but was very clean and the staff was quite helpful. needs new pillows, the stuffed bean bag pillow was hard to sleep with "
Toyoko Inn Higashi Hiroshima Saijo Station
10/10 Excellent
"This location is right next to Saijo station - an excellent place to stay with quick access to Sakagura street to visit all of the sake breweries. My only complaint is there’s only one elevator for the whole hotel so for events like the Saijo Sake Matsuri it takes a long time to get to and from your room, and the breakfast area becomes very crowded. they do have a washer and dryer which I used twice very convenient very efficient. The coffee maker was broken for two of the three days I stayed so that was a bummer. I wish they could’ve given everyone ¥200 to go to the 7-Eleven for coffee or just brew it in the kitchen!"
