"Pleasantly surprised with our stay in R-9. The room was set up great for our family of 4. The kitchen had everything you need if staying a few days. Loved that it was right on the lake with a bar attached. Very clean. 1 bedroom with a queen bed and bunk beds in the main area. We stayed one night in August. Check in was easy. They charged one euro resort fee per person and six euro for parking."

From the outside, a rather normal looking house in a smaller Slovak city, but on the inside, a small but very service minded team, and very large and spacious rooms. "As an architecture buff I enjoyed staying in this 150 year old historic building. It is in the heart of “old” Nitra within walking distance of parks, restaurants, the riverfront and shopping. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Although it’s not the “grand” hotel it once was, it’s very good value and we would definitely stay here again."
